Great vacation for a guy ...?

So, my birthday is Tuesday, and my B / F took me to Lake Geneva over the weekend to jet skiing (which was an explosion). Now, his B-Day coming up in October and would like to do something great for him. I live in IL (about 30 minutes south of Chicago). I thought about rafting in Wisconsin, but not sure how it will be cold in October Any other ideas. I do not want to drive more 5 hours one way. By the way we are both 24yrs old. Likes: Baseball (like the White Sox) Golf (There is only one cheek) soccer (have already led Bears in the game a) If someone can give me some ideas as far as what I could do to involve him in May that one of these activities (or something completely different) Let me know. I also thought of a cruise, but I could not get out of town Thurs to Sun. Thank you for your suggestions.

The Dells are very good. It will not be that cold yet. Also will not be crowded. Also keep watching the baseball standings. The Sox are doing pretty good as are the Cubs. The Sox just got Ken Griffey Jr. for an experienced player. Playoff tickets for the Sox or Cubs I can assure you he would love to love.
