What would I need to create my own miniature golf course?

I have a lot of ground in my garden and I was looking for suggestions on I need to start and what I could use it to create my own path.

Visit a few courses and look. Do you want go with a theme or multiple themes? Do you like water fountains, ponds, etc.? How will you keep the neighborhood kids out? Do you intend to open to the public for rental? Is this allowed in your neighborhood? Is it easy to clean / maintain? How many holes as you want - 10 or 19? A putting green grass professional could be a better use of your lawn, and you can build a "short distance" driving range too. They use them on the roofs of buildings Tokyo for executives.
