Golfers share much in common and one of them is often a fanatical love for the game. For these types, nothing can take the place of location of the nearest golf course, Golf Digest, but is very close. This magazine contains over 200 pages each month, dedicated exclusively to the sport of golf. Each issue usually contains a variety of items and / or functionality on golf courses. Unlike many other magazines, Golf Digest offers tips sound of accomplished professionals. In fact, Golf Digest enlists a number of PGA pros playing as publishers, including all pretty big names in golf (yes, that includes Tiger. You can usually count on the face Tiger decorating at least a dozen pages of each issue, believe it or not). One of my favorite things Golf Digest that merely break arrives Pro Player Image image (whether Duval, Garcia, Lehman, or whoever) to catch their positions at each point of the swing. It is extremely useful (though often depressing) to see where the benefits are at different stages of their swing and compare your own swing.

The things that set Golf Digest apart from the competition are many articles on learning and improving your game and the personal stories and interviews. Other golf publications try to help you learn, but they are often too mechanical. Golf Digest shows you how to improve your game with professional advice, including some of the stars of the elite golf like Tiger Woods. Besides all the tips and tricks, Golf Digest also shows the personal side of the sport with other interviews and intimate stories about the many colorful characters in the game. This personal dimension adds much to the overall attractiveness of magazine, providing reading materials to supplement the ideal side of the magazine more didactic.

Advertisements cover about 55 per cent of pages in each issue of Golf Digest. Besides the obvious, such as golf clubs, golf balls and golf apparel, advertising focuses on other things that people who play golf, like to purchase and enjoy full, like alcohol, cars, credit cards, brokerage firms and travel services. The ads are present in the magazine, but they do not interfere with the enjoyment of each issue as they do in some magazines.

Golf Digest may not be as large as a day on your favorite golf course, but it comes close. I consider the best publication of this kind and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in the game. Golf Digest is a magazine in effect for all golfers out there, ranging from die-weekender hard for the devil driving range. At a reasonable price subscription to magazines from other sports, Golf Digest has just a combination of great articles, images and features for scratch golfers with disabilities to infinity.
