The successful revolutionary Made By Ping G15 Fairway Wood

PING people have been very busy, as they celebrate their 50th birthday gift for you, they have released two new lines of clubs. One of these fairway woods is the G15 which has the unenviable position of following the very successful and well praised the Model G10.
Built in 17-4 stainless steel, the G15 has a "elongated, low profile design for forgiveness Additional and make it easier to use on a series of lies. It's more the head gives you more confidence when standing on your next move.
While the G15 has an elongated head, I never felt that I watch a mini-driver. It seems quite subtle and is based on performance not really a problem at all.
Regarding the color combinations go, red and black seemed to be the rave in recent years and joins PING their bids on the G15. ( Ping G15 Fairway Wood) The unique blend in a beautiful amount of black, red and silver to make the G15 aesthetically pleasing to the eye for the rare cases you really looking to the sole.
As a head size goes well, the G15 is part of your typical modern fairway. Not quite the size of mini-driver (which is good), the G15 oozes confidence you really have the sense that it would be pretty hard to screw up your next move with him. Operator error is all that can be an obstacle.
The G15 hard the blow quite easily that the ball is thrown quickly and effortlessly. Regardless of being in the fairway or light rough, the only interaction with the ground soft and the distance was pretty impressive. The G15 is going in two par five a whole lot more entertaining.
Even with my swing, I had to work very hard to really spoil everything wrong. The G15 is not a miracle worker for your swing, but it's pretty close. Put a decent swing in and you'll be rewarded. A not-so-decent swing will be at least playable (a horrible swing, it does not matter what club you use). The lower handicapper could have more insight to the subtle difference in hitting flush cons just missed, but I could not and, frankly, was not a big concern for me. ( PING G15 Driver ) Make a little golf is easier much higher on the list and the G15 has scored high marks.
The flashy color palette is easy on the eyes and the buffer weight is the center of gravity lower and further back to give you more the trajectory and distance. And we all know golfers enjoy more distance.
One thing I had to get used to was the "sound PING", which was quite different from what I used to. Rather softer than the / thud that I lived with other fairway woods, the G15 gives off a sound alarm and deep "crack" when are struck that gives us the feeling of hitting the ball hard enough. Much authority in the sound department, I found to be just highly pleasing to the ear. It is not unpleasant by any means, you just know your hitting a very solid club.
The standard grip is PING ID8, a rubber grip with a "dog bone" texture. Overall, it's a nice grip and is comparable what is the rest of my clubs and I do not feel the urge to change it. He feels comfortable and alignment marking is an aid to good use to ensure your hands are where they should be.
I have an issue with G15 and it is with the cap. Oh, it looks nice and fits perfectly and the club is not difficult to take off, but I found it was a pain to replace. ( Ping G15 Iron Set) The opening seems a bit small for the head and I found myself wish the easiest to use style cap sock on my other fairway wood. In the grand scheme of things, not a big problem, but I prefer not having to wrestle with the head covers to get to the club.
I was using the same three wood for the last three years and if I tested my fair share since I had not found one that made me want to make a change so far. With the tree of Serrano, the G15 works great for my swing and as forgiving as the head, it was a no-brainer to make the change.
I been very impressed with the results I obtained with the G15 and if you're in the market for a new fairway wood, I recommend strongly to add it to your list.
