Golf Cart Accessories
Assist in the installation of radio in the golf cart?
I try to install a radio in a golf cart that we use in our camp for disabled children. The golf cart runs and six 6-volt batteries, so I installed a 12 volt battery to operate the rear 12 volt accessories. I am not sure to land correctly accessories 12 volts. Can I run a line all the accessories 12 volts to the negative terminal of the 12 volt battery? or possibly ground the negative terminal of battery 12 volts to the image of the golf cart and ground all accessories for the frame? Any special tips for land radio antennas? Sure would appreciate any good advice. Thank you
You may connect the 12V (-) to chassis basket but be careful not connect the 12V (+) to 6V (+). You can use the chassis ground for accessories, but be careful not to mix 6V (+) and 12V (+).
